IVY NELSON is a writer living in Astoria, Queens. Her music and film criticism has appeared in Pitchfork, The Guardian, and Bright Wall/Dark Room, among other publications. Whenever she can make time for it, she writes the newsletter hologram of the senses, a catalog of her recent fixations. She also plays drums and sings in the band FAITH/VOID. She lives with her two cats, Superbass and Retsina.
